EN: Dr. Larissa Steigmann earned her D.M.D. from Goethe University Frankfurt and completed her specialty training and M.S. in Periodontology at the University of Michigan. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and currently serves as Lecturer at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Division of Periodontology. Dr. Steigmann is also involved in teaching at Tel Aviv University and co-directs the Steigmann Implant Institute. She has published extensively in the fields of periodontology and implantology and has received numerous awards, including the Dr. and Mrs. Kramer Scholar Award of Excellence.
Dr. Larissa Steigmann will present “Building the Esthetic Framework – Alveolar Ridge Preservation for Implants”, focusing on techniques to preserve alveolar ridge architecture following tooth extraction. The lecture will explore the biological principles of socket healing, clinical protocols for compromised sites, and material selection to support predictable esthetic and functional outcomes. Emphasis will be placed on the esthetic zone, where soft tissue stability and natural emergence profiles are essential for long-term implant success.

RO: Dr. Larissa Steigmann și-a obținut diploma de medic stomatolog (D.M.D.) la Universitatea Goethe din Frankfurt și și-a finalizat pregătirea de specialitate, precum și titlul de Master în Parodontologie (M.S.), la Universitatea din Michigan. Este Diplomat al American Board of Periodontology și, lector la Harvard School of Dental Medicine, în cadrul Departamentului de Parodontologie. Dr. Steigmann predă, de asemenea, la Universitatea din Tel Aviv și este co-director al Steigmann Implant Institute.
